Great work , im a big fan. But you just crossed the fine line from suggesting the possibility of violence and agony to actually showing the violent act... Personally I dont like it, I rather enjoy the peacefull moment in your works, where we can see the possible horror, but where the characters seem to either ignore them or just accept them.
I really like it (like every thing you've done) but I agree that it crosses over from children being children with creepy monsters around to actual violence against children. I have no problem with that but based off of the themes of most all of your pictures, this one definitely changes the tone.

Sadly I have to agree with Mikkel. The line was definitely crossed and it turned from interesting creepy and fascinating to something very uncomfortable to look at. Violence and children is not a good match, in any form.
I don't see the problem with this one. Edward Gorey used to do it all the time in his drawings, and as we all know, John Kenn is a huge fan of him, so this would be expected. I love it.
