born in Denmark 1978. I write and direct television shows for kids. I have a set of twins and not much time for anything. But when i have time i draw monsterdrawings on post-it notes... it is a little window into a different world, made on office supplies.

For some reason I totally drew something very similar to this in June, a forest spirit with antlers, supposed to be Gaia in the greek myth of Genesis, though pretty heavily inspired by the forest spirit in Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke) by Hayao Miyazaki.
I even made a watercolor painting out of it for a show, but your versions throughout your blog of a similar character are way better.
I really like the penwork, it reminds me of Edward Gorey.
I was kind of bummed to find out I wasn't the first or better person to come up with the character design, and liking yours better too.
