born in Denmark 1978. I write and direct television shows for kids. I have a set of twins and not much time for anything. But when i have time i draw monsterdrawings on post-it notes... it is a little window into a different world, made on office supplies.

See, now ... stuff like this is why I have such a hard time going swimming in water above my head!
Lovely work as always :)
I cannot tell you how much I love your work. I'm so impressed and appreciative.
These are stunning. Do you ever sell any? Not that I could afford them.
I just wanted to let you know I featured you on my blog and linked back to yours here:

Another awesome Post-it monster. I love the fur along with the teeth and simple tounge texture. i love it the sea shading must take the patience of a saint to pull off without making it look hurried. Keep on Keeping on man!!!
Utterly terrifying.
Utterly terrifying.

I absolutely love your artwork. It is its own little escape to view them and remember my childhood daydreams of ordinary monsters where people are the oddity.
I'd love to see a video of your shading and fill technique - really remarkable work. Thanks for sharing it with everyone!
My favorite one yet! This is both terrifying and beautiful at the same time. I love this!
OOHH!!! Johnno! DEN er fed den her...
Ha en god dag, den 17.. en skam jeg ikke kan være med
Hi John,
Amazing drawings! I was directed here by the Comics Alliance post about you. I was wondering what size are these images and what kind of pen do you use? Your work is reminiscent of Edward Gorey. Thanks for sharing these fun and incredibly well realized visions!

Fantástico. Nunca havia imaginado isso. Parabéns.

I used to dream about this fellow when I was five. The sea was lime green and moved like treacle but this guy was always underneath the surface...
As others have commented, these are really amazing. And as others have asked, do you ever sell?

It's pouring where I am so I can't see the lunar eclipse but this blog just cheered me up. thanks!
I've just came by to say that your work is extraordinary! Compliments for such beautifully crafted and exquisitely ominous illustrations!
I was wondering too if you ever sold any. I've been a fan for a while now and would love to have a piece. Also you'd probably have quite a market in the vinyl art toy world with characters like that.
