born in Denmark 1978. I write and direct television shows for kids. I have a set of twins and not much time for anything. But when i have time i draw monsterdrawings on post-it notes... it is a little window into a different world, made on office supplies.

these are absolutely amazing! what pen do you usually use? the line work is fantastic!
Great drawings! I second the request for merch. Prints, calenders, possibly T-shirts and eventually a book would be great!
Also, my small Canadian newspaper has linked to your site. Here's the URL: http://www.prairiedogmag.com/?p=15934.
If there's any problem with re-posting your images please let me know by e-mailing feedback@prairiedogmag.com and I'll take them down immediately.

Dear Don,
I have posted a few of your amazing drawings on my blog (with a link to you) as well as forwarding your link to my sister who is a children's book editor at Houghton-Mifflin (Van Alsburg is one of her authors). let me know if you would prefer i not post them. I can imagine the squeals of delight from your kids when you do another drawing. Happy holidays! mo
fantastic.
a perfectly intriguing Christmas trio
Three wise men, ready for a snack.
The old hat trick and skull cap. These folk are positively ghastly. Excellent.
have you considered selling prints of any of these? i'll be your first customer.
Hi Don, your work is amazing and inspiring... I have a quick question for you, my band is releasing an album on the web for free download (CC license)... It's music and spoken word inspired by Dino Buzzati's work (http://madinkbeard.com/archives/poem-strip-by-dino-buzzati) and your drawing style would be just perfect for the cover... Would you agree to that? Of course we would include authorship information on the cover..
Please let me know.. thank you...
